Telstra will soon launch its first Smartphone which is based on the Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 OS that will support 4G mobile speeds, as per the product catalogue seen by the local Windows Phone devotee site, with the HTC Titan II 4G model.
It is not the first time that the HTC Titan II has been attached for a launch in Australia by the Telstra. Few months ago, an international site confirmed that launch in Australia is probably of the HTC Titan II is through Telstra which had been confirmed at some phase of this particular year, along with word on the launch which is coming directly from the HTC. At that phase it was assumed that the Titan II was probably to launch by the Telstra, as the handset supports LTE standard that only Telstra has until now launched on its network.
HTC Titan II was originally revealed in the month of January as Windows Phone 7 model of HTC to support LTE standard.
Telstra is exploring new growth sectors opening up due to the national broadband network like media asset management, cloud computing and growth across Asia.
Chris Cusack, Telstra area general manager, said today that the forthcoming expansion would convey 4G coverage services to more Newcastle suburbs, which includes Callaghan, Broadmeadow, Jesmond, Georgetown, Lambton, Kotara East, Mayfield West, Mayfield, Waratah West and Waratah.
