AFL To Tribute Jim Stynes with Community Award

Late Melbourne champ Jim Stynes played 264 games from Demons before helping as their president from 2008 till he dead in March after a long combat with cancer. Beside Stynes' widow Sam, Andrew Demetriou, AFL chief executive declared the new award recently in conjunction by the Reach Foundation, Stynes' youth wellbeing charity.

Demetriou said in a statement that, they are all grateful to Jim Stynes' memory and moreover will forever be stimulated by his role to Australian life which is matched by hardly any in the history of the game.
