More supporters will be traveling to the Irish and British Lions tour of Australia than ever prior to, according to managing director Andrew McEvoy of Tourism Australia.
Official packages including tickets went on sale in the UK, Ireland and Europe for the general public this week, traveling with the Lions rugby - the official travel agent - confirming that they have more than 26,000 plans have supporters traveling by Irish and British rugby for 9 games of rugby show in June and July 2013.
Mr. McEvoy believes that to drive the popularity of former touring British and Irish Lions on a clear opportunity for tourism in Australia, especially from the United Kingdom and Ireland but also in generating increased business travel can be reduced national and spread across Australia.
